After completing a BA Degree in Interior & furniture Design in 2008 I worked alongside well known local textile artist Fiona Turley gaining excellent experience in visual merchandising, communicating and negotiating with customers and much much more.
After four years my curiosity to explore art as therapy and mindsets lead me to the next step, to explore teaching. A HDip in art and design from Crawford College was completed in 2013 which lead onto teaching in West london for a year to gain experience.
A year became much longer and after almost 7 years in London I gained amazing life experience in Mindfulness in education from the Myriad Program through Oxford, became Head of department, certified with Level 2 in Reiki, completed my 200hr teacher training from Yoga London, opened my own Well-Being Studio and got to red belt in Taekwondo. All the while teaching Art & Photography to GCSE and A level students.
I believe you can accomplish anything you put your mind to and I believe that a great teacher is one that leads by example. I hope to support and inspire all beings to be the best versions of themselves and I am more then delighted to be back home in Ireland and ready to share my teachings, mentoring and coaching styles.
Well-Being is important now more then ever and I wish to hold space for anyone who wants to make changes to live happier and healthier lifestyles.
Be it to explore yoga, mindfulness or art for the heart I believe I have the tools available to allow you to observe and reflect on what makes you happy. What makes you feel good? And how so you make the feel good bits happen more often?
Over lockdown I was fortunate enough to quickly adjust to online teaching and mentoring. I am fortunate enough to offer online classes with upcoming classes planned in accordance with government social distancing restrictions in Mitchelstown and Fermoy in north Cork.
